Varsity Girls Lacrosse Head Coach - Nicholle Depaz

Coach Depaz (GCM Class of 2003) is the Varsity Head Coach at George C. Marshall High School,

she has been coaching there since 2008, this season will mark her second as the Varsity Head Coach. 

‘Coach D’ played Div. 1 Lacrosse in the ACC under Tami Riley at Virginia Tech, she also competed

in the CAA under Sue Stahl (Former U.S. Team Lacrosse Coach 1988-2005) at Old Dominion. 

In 2006 she was selected in the STX League Draft (Adelaide, Australia) and played for the Burnside Lacrosse Club. 

In 2007 Nicholle played a year of Club Lacrosse for Virginia Tech and was honored with team MVP. 

In 2009 U.S. Lacrosse Convention selected her to present “5 Ways to quickly develop new players to lacrosse.”

Coach D was the recipient of the 2009 Fairfax County Champion of Character - Coaches Award

and selected as this years 2010 Liberty District Coach of the Year.

In addition to coaching at Marshall, Coach D has served as a head coach for Check it Out Lacrosse, Georgetown Prep, MD in 2008 and 2009.  She also served as a Head Coach for Cardinal Lacrosse, Vienna, VA in 2009 and 2010.  Coach D coached for STX and NIKE Lacrosse Camps in 2006 and 2007.

She also currently plays on the NOVA Womens post collegiate team.

Coach Depaz is most proud of her 2010 High School Team who had their first winning record since 2005,

only the second time in school history.  Her team advanced to the Regional Tournament for only the

second time in Program history.  Additionally, her team was awarded the Northern Region Sportsmanship Award.
